In 1962, Bi-State Development and the National Park Service entered into an agreement that enabled BSD to issue $3.3 million in revenue bonds for the design and construction of the Gateway Arch tram system. Since the initial construction phase, BSD has been instrumental in creating and operating key assets associated with visiting the Gateway Arch.
